Overwhelmed in the Morning?

Some people wake up feeling of overwhelmed. Even after a good night’s sleep they may wake up with a sense of dread. Instead of feeling well-rested, they feel exhausted thinking about day. It’s understandable why some people may feel like it is just too hard to even get out of bed in the morning.
Heart-Assisted Therapy
I use a technique called “Heart Assisted” therapy in my work with clients. It is similar to Emotional Freedom Technique” or EFT. Both these techniques have their origins in Eastern medicine. Studies have suggested that these techniques lower cortisol levels and help with relaxation. In the short video below, I demonstrate a method for using Heart-Assisted therapy. It is an especially good technique to try first thing in the morning if you are feeling overwhelmed. How we feel in the morning can set the tone for the day. If we can process our feelings and relax a little, we can start the day in a less stressful way. When we feel less stress we can enjoy our day more and be more productive, too.
