I help people rebuild after divorce- even when they are feeling lost and broken.
Divorce may not be what you wanted, but it doesn’t have to be the end of your story. For over 20 years, I’ve helped individuals move through the grief, confusion, and shame of separation and come out the other side with strength and clarity.
You don’t have to do this alone. I’ll walk beside you every step of the way.

Clients Come To Me When They’re:
- Carrying shame, regret, or anger
- Feeling stuck in grief or panic
- Snapping at loved ones, then drowning in guilt
- Blindsided by the end of a marriage
- Unsure how to rebuild their identity

My therapy helps when divorce feels all consuming
You wake up and remember: they’re gone.
The bed is empty. The house is quiet.
Your chest is tight before your feet even hit the floor.
Each day feels like emotional triage:
Holding it together for the kids. Pretending you’re fine.
Wondering, How did it all fall apart?
Well-meaning advice like “just take care of yourself” rings hollow when you’re barely surviving.
Deep down, you’re wondering: Will I ever trust myself again?
“This pain doesn't have to define you.”
The grief of divorce isn’t just emotional. It lives in your chest, your stomach, your jaw.
In our work together, we’ll focus not just on the story of your divorce, but on the impact it’s had on your body and nervous system.
Using a trauma-informed, somatic approach, you’ll learn how to:
- Feel grounded when the fear takes over
- Use simple somatic techniques like breathwork and EFT to regulate emotions
- Process the heartbreak safely through body-centered AEDP work
- Talk honestly about what you’ve been through without pressure or judgement
My approach combines evidence-based modalities like:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps you identify and relate to the different “parts” of yourself—those parts may have conflicting points of view or feelings about the divorce and the future. We will help you gently engage them with compassion so you can heal and make future choices with clarity and care for yourself and your children.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
AEDP focuses on creating a safe, attuned relationship where you can feel and process overwhelming and scary emotions. This helps your nervous system shift from states of distress to safety and connection—so you can feel more grounded.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping)
EFT combines gentle tapping on specific acupressure points with verbal processing to calm the nervous system and reduce distress. As a somatic tool, it’s a powerful way to release stored emotional energy, especially when you might not even be able to find all the words to describe how you are feeling.
We’ll work with the body, not just the story, to access your innate capacity for healing.
Divorce Therapy With Me Has Results
“Why can’t I just move on?”
Because grief doesn’t respond to logic. Divorce is a loss, and your body needs time and support to process it fully before it can release it.
“How do I explain this pain to people who don’t get it?”
You don’t have to. Our sessions give you a place to stop pretending and start healing at your own pace.
“What will life look like after this?”
We’ll explore that together. You don’t need a perfect plan. Through this process you’ll rediscover your resilience, clarity, and self-worth.

There Is Life After Divorce
You Will:
- Trust yourself again
- Feel like a more present, less reactive parent
- Strengthen your relationship with your kids
- Set boundaries without guilt
- Begin building a life that’s fully your own

Somatic Therapy Online Across New Jersey
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from NYU and am trained in somatic, trauma-informed, and emotionally focused therapies including AEDP, EFT, and IFS. Over the past two decades, I’ve supported countless individuals as they navigate the painful, disorienting terrain of divorce.
My approach is warm, down to earth, and rooted in compassion and personal experience. I’m not here to rush you or give surface-level advice. I’m here to help you rebuild from the inside out and to support you in becoming the person you want to be on the other side of this loss.
Outside of therapy I enjoy running, hiking, ballroom dancing, and trying new vegan recipes. I believe in living what I teach: compassion, curiosity, and connection.

My work has also been featured in academic texts and national conferences, exploring themes of trauma, abuse, gender, and resilience. From early research on how women cope with sexual harassment to more recent workshops on caregiver self-care and somatic healing, my writing and teaching reflect a long-standing commitment to helping people heal with compassion and integrity.
