Clinical Supervision
You finished graduate school and have that shiny new MSW. Yay, you! Now the real work begins. You will be making choices as a therapist, honing your craft, helping clients and learning everything possible. You are doing exactly what you always wanted to do, but it can be truly overwhelming.
I would like to help you navigate your way out of the overwhelm. Clinical Supervision with another therapist can be one of the best ways to gain objectivity on your work. I work with seasoned therapists, as well as new LSWs looking to get supervised hours for their clinical license. I can also help you understand the state LCSW exam, so that you can stress less about that and pass.
Online Therapists Seeking Supervision
Post-COVID, many of us are working online, or have hybrid practices. I have been doing online teletherapy with clients for over 7 years now and would love to share the best practices I have learned on using this modality. Many therapist feel that in working online they may be missing important aspects that would inform their work. I don’t believe that is true. Working online in a virtual setting can offer unique opportunities for the therapist-client relationship and we can talk about how that can improve your work with your clients.
